Lucid dreams!

I found a neat WILD/WBTB (Wake Initiated Lucid Dream) variation technique to try as I explored this Finnish lucid dream forum. Someone came up with a technique where you had to imagine yourself hanging on a pole. This would purely play with the dream physics of what you expect, will happen.. Before falling asleep, you can imagine yourself hanging for infinite amount of time… But as you fall asleep, your mind makes you start to slip and eventually fall down from it.

You perform a reality check and voila! Maybe you could also imagine the pole as red, with white text that reads “WILD” so that you don’t forget what you were doing.

I’m a dog & a corgi person… but I’m going to get a bigcat tattoo on my right wrist (it covers almost the whole inner side)

It will be a picture of a CALM black leopard with it’s eyes closed, looking down/sleeping (it’s the big cat from my hypnopompic episodes and an animal totem). It’s chest is going to have this Chinese kanji

I don’t want to get a nonsense tat which just “looks coool!” It needs to be an important thing and a reminder as it sticks with me trough my life. It acts as a reminder to make a reality check. It also reminds me to stay calm and clear with my thoughts in every situation.

Also the things in the panther animal totem link go more in depth for its personal purpose.

Lucid Dreaming like a boss?

I used to have constant lucid dreams due to continuous nightmares as a kid. Back then I didn’t know “conscious dreaming” had a name. But boy I had fun! I’m still trying my best to get back into LDing, with a few successes along the way. You really can’t describe the awesome feeling. Some find it awesome to control everything like God, but to me personally… I find it interesting to be inside a dream, see the stunning visuals inside it. A brick wall in front of me looks 100% real… it also feels real when I reach my fingers to touch the cement inbetween bricks. The sun shines to my face… I can feel the warmth of the sun and it reminds me of those early summerdays. The wind blows in trees and I can see the every small details of it… every single leaf dancing to the wind. And there I am, telling myself that this is just my imagination and it’s all in my head. wow.

It really puts the whole “reality” we call awaken life into a question, and Lucid dreaming in a way, proves me that there’s something else in our lives, other than “physical reality”. :)
